While meditation may be the most effective way to achieve mindfulness, there are other options you can try.
You can still find more happiness and peace of mind through a variety of physical and mental practices.
Be mindful throughout the day. Use a timer app on your phone or computer to remind when during your day to be mindful. Set the timer to notify you every 10 to 15 minutes. Take a few mindful breaths.
Breathe deep. Engaging with your breath is a practice you can do anywhere. Pay attention to each inhalation and exhalation. You’ll feel stronger and calmer.
Then return to your previous activity.
